Earth Day May 6th, 2017
We would like to thank our clients and our community for supporting our 6th Annual Earth Day Shred-it event. It was a wonderful day and a huge success!
Over two tons of paper was shredded, saving an equivalent of 38 trees from destruction. We collected over 467 pounds of food, cleaning products, paper goods as well as cash donations for our local Cheshire Food Pantry. Our animal friends were well taken care of with donations of cash, food, toys and lots of treats. Additionally, the Cheshire Lions Club was the recipient of 9 pairs of eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses.
A special thank you to our Earth Day volunteers! We look forward to next year!
Lending a Helping Hand to Those in Need January 2017
On Sunday, January 22, the Egidio Assante team took part to prepare, cook, and serve hot meals to more than 200 men, women, and children at the St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen in Waterbury, Connecticut. A special thanks to Tracy Maher and the volunteer team for allowing us to participate in this wonderful opportunity to give back to our community.
Give your hands to Serve and your hearts to Love.

Holiday Giving Tree December 2016
Thank you to all who participated in our Holiday Giving Tree.
The response was wonderful, and we were able to provide an extra-special Christmas to several families in our community.
Earth Day 2016
The Green team (a.k.a. Egidio Assante Wealth Management) wishes to thank everyone who attended our Earth Day event held Saturday, May 7, 2016.
We collected approximately 2 tons of paper for shredding and recycling—the equivalent of saving 34 trees from destruction. We surpassed last year’s total by 1 ton.
In spite of the inclement weather, the outpouring of donations from our clients and town residents was tremendous.
In addition to $100 in cash and checks to our local Cheshire Food Pantry, we were pleased to present a donation of 327 pounds of food, cleaning supplies, and paper products. Additionally, the Cheshire Lions Club was the recipient of 10 pairs of eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses.
Our clients and the Cheshire community did not disappoint insofar as our four-legged friends were concerned. The no-kill animal shelters of Animal Haven in North Haven, the New Haven Animal Shelter, and the Meriden Humane Society will each receive $40 plus one case of both dog and cat food, as well as treats.
Thanks to all of you for spending a Saturday morning helping the environment and our local organizations. Due to your continued support, we’ve been able to make a real difference for the planet, as well as providing a greener world for our children and future generations.
A special thank you to Mary Korp for organizing the event.
We look forward to next year.
